    VMP Mortgage Solutions' Tool Illustrates MISMO Format, Educates Users

    SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- At the 91st Mortgage Banking
Convention and Expo, VMP(R) Mortgage Solutions, Inc., a Bankers Systems, Inc.
company, announced that Safedocs Company, Inc. has integrated the VMP SMART
Document Viewer into its Safedocs System(R) (SDS). An end-to-end digital
closing and post closing work flow solution, the SDS uses biometric, public
key infrastructure (PKI) signatures, and digital notary technology to execute
closing loan documents. The viewer will give Safedocs users the ability to
examine documents created according to the Mortgage Industry Standards
Maintenance Organization's (MISMO's) data standards. The VMP SMART Document
Viewer was the first tool in the industry to demonstrate the three aspects of
lending documents prepared in Level 1 SMART Document format.

viewer is also equipped with a routine that checks documents for well-formed
and valid XML(TM) using MISMO's data standards. The validation routine allows
for lenders experimenting with eMortgage technology to perform basic XML
integrity tests on their data.
